CELINE S/S 2012

New York, Madrid, Milán, Paris.. fashion's weeks are already finish and all designers have done their exams with their spring/summer collections. Having a look at all of the shows and the pictures in backstage's, i realized that my favourite one this time (and it's becoming one of my favourite designers too) it's Celine.

Since her debut two years ago, Phoebe Philo has won legions of fan thanks at his simple-minimal-useful style that made fall in love lot of women. Women that have gotten used to all things sleek and streamlined (for example the unadorned leather Classic box bag that launched so many imitators). But for spring, Philo is thinking about "shape", about "very three-dimensional sculptural silhouettes" that accentued the bits that felt strong, to tried to create new proportions (like the belts on the waist or A-line leather tees with the pleats, for example).
She is one of those growing number of designers who take inspiration from fifties and sixties this year (you can see it clearly in the rounded sleeve of the army jackets or at the peplums circling the hips) but also the one who never leave her spirit of new era and minimal look. No prints, few accesories, save from leather bags and ankle-strap pumps that, personally love (want/need!) that were the focus of the show.

Celine Pre-Fall 2011

En cada una de las temporadas la identidad de Celine no pasa desapercibida. Talles de líneas perfectas y simples, minimalismo en formas y colores, mix de tejidos en un mismo contexto, sobriedad y elegancia se mezclan sin perder autenticidad de su proprio nombre.
Esta vez, Phoebe Philo, para la pre-fall 2011, se ha inspirado en los "members of the 1950's British underground", abrigos y piezas de talle masculino dónde da importancia a tejidos como el "raw japanese denim" de diferentes reflejos para crear piezas geometricas con toques futuristas. Líneas clásicas y simples , en contraposición a tejidos innovadores y tecnólogicos como el PVC iriscente en pantalones, abrigos y vestidos. No sin crear un ambiente de "working woman" dándole feminidad a las prendas con faldas lápiz, piel, estampado leopardo, vestidos y un all-in-one con una cáida perfecta hasta los pies.

In each of the seasons Celine's identity does not happen unnoticed. Figures of perfect and simple lines, minimalism in forms and colors, mix of fabrics in the same context, sobriety and elegance are mixed without losing genuineness of his real name.
This time, Phoebe Philo, for the pre-fall 2011, has inspired in " members of the 1950's British underground ", coats and pieces of masculine figure where it gives importance to fabrics as " raw japanese denim " of different reflections to create geometric pieces with futurist touches. Classic and simple lines, in contraposition to innovative and technologic fabrics as the iridescent PVC in trousers, coats and dresses. Not forgetting an environment of " working woman " giving him femininity to the articles with skin's pencil skirts, leopard print , dresses and an all-in-one with a perfect cascade up to the feet.
